No. There's no email, password or sign-up. Your device is given a secure anonymous ID automatically, and that's your identity in the app.

Yes. Other people see only an optional nickname and avatar. Nothing links them to your real identity, and your location is rounded before it is stored so nobody sees exactly where you are.

How far away can I see posts from?

You choose a radius of 3, 5, 7 or 10 kilometres for the main feed. In the marketplace you can search from 5 up to 50 kilometres.

Yes, Pooby is completely free. There are no fees, and Pooby never handles payments — marketplace trades are arranged directly between buyer and seller.

How does the Pooby marketplace work?

Post up to five listings a day with photos, a price and a category. Listings stay live for 30 days. You can also post a Wanted request, save searches, and get a notification when something matching is posted nearby.
